Thursday, October 4
UrbanGlass / Brooklyn Academy of Music
647 Fulton Street
Brooklyn, NY

SITI invites you to help us celebrate the close of our 25th Anniversary season and toast to our future!

We want you to be part of this exciting evening as we celebrate our legacy, showcase our newest production at the BAM NextWave Festival and look towards our future! Following the performance of The Bacchae, the evening will continue with an after-party with dancing, drinks and desserts at UrbanGlass.

Our annual benefit raises crucial funds for SITI Company, allowing us to continue to invest in the creation of new work and to support our many programs to train the next generation of theater artists.

5:30pm - Cocktails at UrbanGlass
6:00pm - Dinner in the UrbanGlass Studio
7:30pm - Performance of The Bacchae at the BAM Harvey Theater
9:00pm - After-Party, UrbanGlass Gallery

Tickets of $500+ include entry into all elements of the evening.
$150 tickets include the performance and after-party.

****UPDATE:  We only have a handful of performance tickets left. Please call our office at 212-868-0860 x101 to purchase $500 tickets to the full event, or $150 tickets to the performance + after-party.

As we bring our 25thAnniversary season to a close, we want to take the opportunity to celebrate many of the collaborators and artists that we’ve worked with over the past 25 years.

We are pleased to honor our next collaborator: Elizabeth Streb

Elizabeth STREB’S unconventional reconceptualization of American postmodern dance is an avant garde combination of stunt show, extreme sport and artistry. Streb is a MacArthur “Genius” Award-winner who has dived through glass, allowed a ton of dirt to fall on her head for the Whitney Groundbreaking; walked down (the outside of) London’s City Hall for the London 2012 Olympics; and set herself on fire for her partner’s, Laura Flanders 40th birthday- among other feats of extreme action.  We wish to salute the motion lexicon that she and her company have aspired to create and their work which speaks of, and to, intrinsic human potential.

“I want my work to make all of us want to do more, go further. I believe that action – on the stage and in the street – is the most powerful force on earth. I believe it can cure sad hearts and sated minds, and I am trying to prove this point.” – Elizabeth Streb
