SITI Company is an ensemble-based theater company whose three ongoing components are the creation of new work for the stage, the training of young theater artists, and a commitment to artistic and international exchange.  Founded by Anne Bogart, Tadashi Suzuki and a group of likeminded artists in 1992, the ensemble is led by co-artistic directors Anne Bogart, Leon Ingulsrud and Ellen Lauren. SITI is renowned for our highly physical, intellectually complex, and entertaining productions that incorporate a variety of disciplines. We create new work, reinvent classics and devise collaborative pieces. In addition, the Viewpoints and the Suzuki Method of Actor Training are two distinct techniques used in building and staging SITI productions and are the basis of our educational programs.

SITI Company is committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and the creation of safe spaces for all artists to create work; and for all artists and employees to work in an environment that respects all aspects of their identity including, age, race, sex, gender, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, marital status, and ability.

We have no open opportunities at this time.

SITI Management Incubator

In 2018 SITI Company was pleased to launch a new program aimed at offering training and employment for the next generation of theatrical producers and managers: SITI’s Management Incubator. This program seeks dynamic creative entrepreneurs of color and offers individualized mentorship, on the job training, and networking opportunities.  Ideal candidates are those looking to augment their own creative practice and projects while simultaneously gaining a foothold in the New York City performing arts industry and becoming immersed in the life of a vibrant, established theatrical ensemble.

These positions were supported in 2018 by the New York State Regional Economic Development Council (REDC).

All Management Incubator positions are currently filled.
