Due to NYC Pause and ongoing concerns related to Covid-19, SITI Company has cancelled all summer programs. We are unsure when we will be able to be in the studio again, but will keep this page updated as the situtaion changes. Please email jonathan@siti.org with any questions.

Viewpoints Master Class for Directors with Anne Bogart

This program will consist of three evening sessions especially for directors who work with the Viewpoints. Anne Bogart, SITI Company’s Co-Artistic Director, will share new insights and explore the application of Viewpoints to create resonant stage moments. Some text memorization required.

2019 Winter Morning Studio

Offered as a complimentary program within SITI’s 2018/2019 Conservatory year, Morning Studio is an 8-week program for artists who have an advanced understanding of the Suzuki and Viewpoints and are looking for more intensive study. Admission to Morning Studio is extremely selective and is only open to applicants with substantial prior experience training with SITI Company.

When: January 7 - February 15, 2019, Monday through Friday mornings from 10am to 1pm. 

Where: SITI’s Zeisler Studio, 520 8th Avenue, Suite 310.

Drop-in Classes

Virtual Drop-Ins on Wednesdays 
This Fall, SITI is offering Virtual Suzuki & Viewpoints Drop-In Classes. Drop-Ins will be taught by SITI Company Members and Associate Artists. Classes are offered only to artists who have previously trained with SITI Company. Drop-in will be taught for All-Levels, with an understanding that participating artists have some experience of the training. 

Programing for beginners in Suzuki and Viewpoints will be announced in mid september. 

Viewpoints Master Class with Anne Bogart

Topic:

Led by SITI Company Co-Artistic Director, Anne Bogart, this Master Class will focus on using the Viewpoints vocabulary while working on duets and trios from the plays of Charles L. Mee Jr.

About the Training:

Developed by the internationally acclaimed director Tadashi Suzuki and the Suzuki Company of Toga, the Suzuki Method seeks to heighten the actor’s emotional and physical power and commitment to each moment on the stage.

SITI is happy to announce our second Transformation through Training Convening, an international gathering of artists and scholars whose work has been influenced by the two actor training methods shared at SITI, the Suzuki Method of Actor Training and the Viewpoints.

Spring Training

Level 1: Beginner

March 11 – April 12 (5 Weeks)
Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 2:00pm
Tuition: $1,100
Early bird rate: $1,000 (must pay full amount by February 25)

Level 2: Intermediate

March 25 – April 12 (3 Weeks)
Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 2:00pm
Tuition: $600
Early bird rate: $575 (must pay fulll amount by March 11)

Applications for Level 1 are closed. We will continue to accept Level 2 applications until Monday, February 25, 6:00pm.
