The Classes:

The Fall Session is a combined Suzuki and Viewpoints class (single classes will not be offered this session). Participants may be beginner, intermediate or advanced in their experience of Suzuki and/or Viewpoints.

Easy 3-Step Application Process:

1) Please follow these instructions to submit your application materials.

• Prepare an email addressed to training@siti.org with the subject line: “Fall 2010 Training Application”.
• In the body of the email, write a one-paragraph statement describing your previous training experience. Be sure to also include your name, telephone and email address contact information in the body of the email.
• Attach your headshot or photo (in jpeg or pdf format)
• Attach your resume (in word or pdf format)

2) Choose whether you will pay the full tuition now, or if you prefer to pay only the non-refundable deposit of $100. Payment or deposit must be received by the deadline in order to ensure that your application will be reviewed. We also now offer a convenient payment plan, spread out over 4 bi-weekly installments (that’s $250 every 2 weeks). Special Offer: Pay the full tuition by August 31 to receive a $50 discount off the regular price!

3) Submit payment through PayPal's secure servers (you do NOT need a PayPal account). PayPal accepts all major credit cards and online checks.

Who Should Apply? Application to the Fall session is open to all experience levels: beginning, intermediate and advanced.

Class Etiquette: We believe in the centrality of the ensemble in our methods. The rigorous vocal and physical training, as well as the shared journey and group dynamic are vital to the success of every session. To that end, we urge all students to respect their instructors’ and fellow students’ time, come to classes prepared, on time and be ready to fully participate.

Training Dates: September 27 – October 29, 2010. Weekdays, Monday – Friday

Application Deadline: Monday, September 6 (Labor Day)

Early Payment Discount Deadline: Tuesday, August 31

Acceptance Notification**: Friday, September 10, by email.
(**Please note: International applicants may request early acceptance notification, in order to allow time for visa and travel arrangements; please note your request in the application email)

Payment/ Refund Information:
After your application is processed and accepted, you will have an opportunity to pay the balance online or in-person on or before the first class by check or credit card. If you do not pay your tuition balance in advance, it will be due on the first day of classes, Monday, September 27. We accept credit cards, personal checks, traveler’s checks, or money orders. No cash, please.

The staff and faculty review all applications, and participation is by invitation only (not first-come, first served). If you are NOT selected, your deposit will be refunded in full. If you ARE selected to participate, but then withdraw, your deposit is non-refundable. A $10 fee will apply to any returned check.
