JOB TYPE: Part-Time (15 months with the possibility of extension)

Saratoga International Theater Institute, Inc (SITI, Inc.) is the nonprofit corporation associated with SITI Company, the 30-year-old theatrical ensemble founded by Anne Bogart, Tadashi Suzuki and a group of likeminded artists in 1992. At the conclusion of its 30th Anniversary season in December 2022, SITI Company will end its current iteration as a touring, teaching, performing ensemble with a full-time administrative staff and office. Starting in 2023 SITI, Inc.’s operations will be greatly reduced and the primary focus will shift from creating new work to stewarding the Legacy of SITI Company and its Emeritus Artists. SITI, Inc. will still maintain its commitment to training theater artists but its purpose going forward will be more accurately characterized as “service to the field” as the entity begins to function more as a bridge for new generations of ensembles and as a hub for archival inquiries, training inquiries and alumni support.

The Managing Director will report to, and work in close partnership with the Board of Directors to execute the strategic goals of SITI, Inc. in its new configuration, which has been structured to bridge the present to the future and to hold space for the possibility of future evolution in 2024 and beyond, or for conscientious closure in several years.
