SITI is winding down their producing, performing, and teaching activity at the end of 2022. But the non-profit entity will remain and turn its attention to being a bridge between the legacy of SITI and new generations of ensembles, and a hub for archival inquiries, training inquiries and alumni support.
Your gift of $30 or more at the end of their 30th anniversary season will help shape the SITI legacy by ensuring resources for the Digital Archive.
Part of SITI’s Living Archive, the Digital Archive provides entirely free access to a searchable and rich collection of playbills, production photos, video clips, scripts, photos, and more. SITI’s Legacy plan also includes serving new generations of ensembles and artists training in Suzuki and Viewpoints through an international alumni network of artists like you that will take shape in 2023. Your donation will support these legacy activities through 2023.
As a small token of thanks gifts over $30 will receive a digital version of the SITI Company Cookbook – a fun way to bring the SITI legacy to your kitchen with recipes submitted by SITI artists. For gifts of $100 or more, we’ll show our thanks by sending you a physical copy of the new book SITI Company: This is Not A Handbook.
Other ways to support SITI:
Many companies or foundations will match employee donations to nonprofit organizations. You can double or triple your gift to SITI Company by using your company’s matching gift program. Many of these programs also offer a matching grant for time spent volunteering with a nonprofit.
Gifts of Stock
Gifts of stock can serve as a double tax benefit, allowing the donor to deduct the full market value of the securities and avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation. Stock gifts can be made in person, through a broker or through the mail. If you are making a stock transfer, please notify us when it is in progress at 212-868-0860.
