#ThankfulForSITI

From November 23 through November 27, we will be celebrating ways we are #ThankfulForSITI and we invite you to join us.

The role of the arts to help make sense of the world around us seems more urgent than ever. The need to tell the stories that will bridge our individual differences is pressing and relevant. We hope that you will support SITI in this effort because we cannot do it without your help. It is an enormous privilege to share our work and our training with communities across the country and the world – international cultural exchange is vital. Your commitment to our mission inspires us and we hope we can do the same for you – thank you.

Upcoming Special Events:
On December 6, SITI is thrilled to be partnering with Big Quiz Thing to present a special SITI and theatre-themed trivia event to raise money for all of SITI’s 2021 activities. Form teams with your friends, show off your trivia skills to earn points, and compete to win special prizes! Tickets to the SITI Big Quiz Thing will go on sale Friday, October 30 at 9:00 a.m. Early Bird General Team and Early Bird Alumni Team prices are restricted to the first 10 teams purchased in each category.

Other ways to support SITI:

Matching Gifts

Many companies or foundations will match employee donations to nonprofit organizations. You can double or triple your gift to SITI Company by using your company’s matching gift program. Many of these programs also offer a matching grant for time spent volunteering with a nonprofit.

Gifts of Stock

Gifts of stock can serve as a double tax benefit, allowing the donor to deduct the full market value of the securities and avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation. Stock gifts can be made in person, through a broker or through the mail. If you are making a stock transfer, please notify us when it is in progress at 212-868-0860.

In-Kind Donations

SITI accepts gifts of goods or services from individuals and businesses. These could include office supplies, including computers and software; massage, acupuncture or physical therapy services for the actors; or, for our annual benefit, donations of food, beverages, gift bag items and other services.

Bequests

For almost 30 years, SITI Company has been a force in American theater. We have had a lasting impact on a generation of artists in a variety of disciplines through our unique productions, one-of-a-kind trainings, and international scope. As we move towards our 30th Anniversary season and reflect on our legacy, the support that our community can offer us will be more important than ever.

A charitable bequest made through your will or retirement account is one of the simplest ways that you can make a significant contribution to help us create new work, train the next generation of theater artists, and promote international cultural exchange.

We are pleased to provide the following information to help you as you consider the best way to construct a charitable bequest for SITI Company.

If you have any questions about making a charitable bequest to SITI Company, please contact William Gfeller, Development Manager, at will@siti.org.

All conversations are strictly confidential and imply no obligation. If you have already included SITI Company in your estate plans, you can let us know why by completing a letter of intent. For more information on bequests, go here.
